I have an Exede install today, and while I have a good size data plan, I still have to consider things. Other than VOD, which I do not use, is the H3 doing much of anything to account for any bandwidth usage over time?
Hopper bandwidth usage when connected to home network?

It will work as a "vampire" unit and use data in standby... I am not sure that is by design, but it has been around since atleast the VIP612 and 622.... I also have noticed it is not on every box, but is random between different accounts.
