Hopper II Issues

I moved my Hopper II from my house to my RV. In the house I received the Eastern Arc Sats, in the RV it's the Western Arc Sats using a Traveller II antenna. I performed a switch check which changed the Hopper to receive the eastern Arc sats which is what I need. The issue is that now when I turn the Hopper off for more then say 8 hours the receiver goes thru a switch check and signal acquisition process automatically every time I turn it on. If I turn it off for say 4-6 hours it starts up normal without a switch chech etc.

Are you just turning off the receiver, or removing power from the receiver. The only time our Hopper 2 automatically does a switch check is when we first power it up after plugging into shorepower at a new campsite or after starting up the onboard generator. Normal receiver turn offs for the night, etc., do not cause the check to run. It doesn't matter which arc we happen to be using at the time.
