Hopper/Joey Remote Distance

Anyone here have any issues with their remotes from a certain distance. I know they have s certain range but when you run into that problem what have you done to solve it. Is there a way to extend the range? I have a customer that has a TV mirrored off of a Joey and his remote will not work from that room. Any ideas?

If you could get them to mirror the hopper instead, you could relocate the antenna. I'm not sure what you can do with the Joey since there is no antenna port. If by chance they only need SD from the Joey, you might be able to move the joey to a more central location.
