I looked and found some info, but not alot.Im using my Harmony Elite.

I had the Hopper Plus installed on the Hopper 3 today. I noticed that that is always boots to the Android screen and goes to channel 123,I can hit back and it goes to the
last channel I was watching. Is this the behavior now?

Also noticed that when I use the Actual dish remote, the Hopper Plus and Hopper 3 both have the leds lit,is this normal.

Harmony Elite no longer turns off the Hopper 3,I assume due to the H3 being plugged into the Hopper Plus and it not having commands.

Harmony Elite no longer turns off the Hopper 3,I assume due to the H3 being plugged into the Hopper Plus and it not having commands. True, but since the H3 goes into after 5 mins mins,no big deal. Everything else works fine.

Since you answered your own questions, I consider you a knowledgeable source on the subject. :p I've got a question or two.

How did you get the Plus? Is there a charge for it? Did you install it yourself or do they require a tech visit to add to the Hopper 3? Is there a monthly fee?

How does the Plus operate compared to Roku, Firestick, Apple TV, etc.? Is it as quick and clean from screen to screen?

Does the added hard drive allow you to record streaming material, or is it just additional space for normal satellite programming?

I'd appreciate any other observations you care to share. Thanks.

The plus is free and there is no monthly charge.I'm not sure about installation charge-mine install was free because they were there to do something anyways. I have a feeling installation is free because they really want everybody to have one.
Personally I already have a Roku Ultra,Nividia Shield and a firestick(besides my tv's built in stuff so I don't use it. Plus it was 98 percent compatible with my Harmony One but not 100 percent. There was one other issue but can't remember it.
If everything is free I would try it. It is very easy to disconnect and go back to your original set up .
BTW there is no added hard drive in the Plus.

I upgraded my Joey and they installed the Plus at the same time. Tech had to do the install. No monthly fee for the Plus. The fee for the new Joey 3 stayed the same.

I use an Apple TV 4K,and I'll keep using it. At times the scrolling seems to lag.

Plus doesn't have a Hard drive.

Can't record anything from the apps on the Plus. It's just an Android box to connect to the streaming services.
