Can a customer tranfer videos off of hopper to a hard drive or other media

Recordings can be transferred to an external hard drive for extended/back up storage. Recordings transferred to an external hard drive can only be view through the Hopper receivers on the same account. Recordings can also be transferred to the DISH Anywhere application using a Hopper with Sling receiver.

Unless you transfer the show to your I-pad and take it to there house. I have a cable that can play my mini I-pad on a tv in full hd. It works fine and the only difference is you have to use your i-pad as the remote control.

Customer is getting a replacement hopper and wants to keep recordings

Transfer them to a EHD.

Replacement hoppers are considered on the same account which gives them the same encryption key. I have done that with each upgrade from 612, to 722, to hopper2000, to HWS.
