Hopper with Sling, our newest Whole-Home HD DVR receiver with built-in Sling technology, is becoming very popular in the marketplace, and more customers, both new and existing, are having it installed on their accounts. In light of this, we want to make sure you are aware of a unique situation.
During the initial installation, if the Hopper with Sling is connected to both the 61.5º and the 119º orbital locations the software cannot download.
If you have a Hopper with Sling customer who needs to be connected to both the 61.5º and 119º orbital locations, please
follow these steps to ensure the software is downloaded properly during installation:
1. Only connect the Hopper with Sling to either the 61.5º or the 119º orbital location (and any other orbital
location that also needs to be connected).
2. Download the software as you normally would.
3. Once you have verified that the software has been downloaded, connect the Hopper with Sling to the
remaining orbital location (either 61.5º or 119º).
