how do i setup a hopper with a sling adapter?? i plugged it into the hopper but my iphone dish app says its not connected.

Press menu-6-3 and then run the connection test and verify broadband passes. Then log out and back in to the app and see if it shows connected. Also, if you have multiple recievers, make sure you have the correct one selected from the app menus. If none of that works, reset the reciever and then check the app again.
