Just wanted to show everyone my install back in April. See this thread for more details .

Our dish was reinstalled by a Dish technician after a roof repair. The whole thing was a sitcom. We had scheduled the install for 1-5 pm because we knew we were going to be away from the house in the a.m. I got a notification on my phone from my doorbell that someone was at the door around 10:30. It was the Dish tech. He left without calling, leaving note or anything. We got home between 11:30 and noon and I called Dish to inquire. They said the installer attempted but I would have to reschedule, which i reluctantly did. Check on the website, and the reschedule was not entered. Called back, got another tech he said the installer was on his way to our house. We stayed home and the tech showed up and said "I'm here to trade out your Joey". That was one of the things on the work order. I told him he also needed to reinstall our Dish. He lied, I guess, and said he didn;t see that on the order. I asked him about what happened earlier and he said "I didn;t even look at the time scheduled, I was nearby and just thought I'd drop off the Joey".
He did reinstall the Dish, came back in and had me sign the documentation and left quickly. I went out a couple of minutes after he was gone and found this.

No way I was calling back. Didn't really want this guy back at my house.

I went out the next day and fixed it myself.

I know it's not perfect, but look so much better than what he did (or didn't do).

To be honest, I forgot about it. We went on vacation first couple of weeks of May, caught covid on the way home which wasted another couple of weeks. Just went outside to move the toter and thought. I don't think I ever posted what happened, so here it is.

BTW, should I be concerned as to whether the Dish itself was installed correctly? It is dropping out at the least signs of rain .

I would be losing my mind if this happened to my house. Literally snapping out. If one of my guys did this we would be coming back so I could make sure he learned how to do it the right way
