How do i get into Aux menu? (dishnetwork)

everytime i press aux on my remote it just turns the tv off..

There is no AUX menu.

AUX is use to flip your TV from TV Tuner Mode to Auxilary Mode (Video mode) not all TV's support this function though, so on some TV's pressing AUX does stange things such as turns off the TV.

If you program a DISH remote to work your TV before setting it up for another component (i.e., DVD, stereo receiver, etc.) the AUX button will do just what you say - it becomes a TV "Power" button.
