How many receivers am I able to set up under one account, I talked to someone at Dish the other day and they said you could have 8 on one account, and could set up 6 receivers yourself but 7 and 8 would have to be installed by a Dish Technician. Anything after 8, up to 16 on one Dish would be a seperate account. Anyone know if this is just garbage or if this is true policy. I know you can physically hook up 16 receivers off one dish using switches but can they be on one account?

6 receivers is the official max on one account, in special circumstances the executive offices have approved more than 6. Those are usually subject to audit by DISH technicians.

As for max tuners on a single dish, using ONLY E* gear, 96 is the max.

That's done with DP Duals and DP Splitters to get 4 feeds per bird.

That gives you 4 strings of DPP44. Three DPP44s per string.

That's a total of 12 DPP44s, which is 48 output ports, which can run 48 dual-tuner boxes using DPP Separators.

That's a LOT of failure points - I'd never want to do it.
