It was the holiday season, everyone watching their TV
When the Grinch came along, that’s right, the NAB
Dishnetwork it seems didn’t play by the rules
But they made a mistake, and took Echostar for fools
Oh they won in court, that much is true
Took our distants away, made many of us blue
But then in flash, NPS did appear
With Atlanta and San Fran as distants, oh dear!
Back to court NAB went, so sure they would win
But this is where Charlie had a big, big grin
Not working in Concert, as some may have thought
Charlie stood tall, now winning in court
He gave us our locals and distants too
Seems nothing else for the NAB to do
Standing up for the consumer, Charlie stands tall
So happy TV watching, to one and to all.
