How to set DVR record defaults?

Okay I have the 622 and what I'd like to do is set the system so that the default choice is "Once" when you hit record from the guide. As things stand if its a movie once is the default but if I'm wanting to record a single episode from a seris or such it insists on defaulting to "All" which isnt what I wanted. Hopefully its an easy thing to change but I couldnt find anything on how to do this in the Manual so would appreceiate the help if its even possible.

That is not an available option at this time (unlnown if they will ever add it) Your only option is to manually select once every time.

That's one of my pet peeves. In my opinion it should default to ONCE. Can't tell ya how many times I forgot to select ONCE and fortunately caught the fact that I'd scheduled ALL of something that I didn't want. Although I didn't like the answer thanks for asking the question.

If the 622 is like the 722 you just check off the box you want. I have the 722 and have not had a 622, but the DVR is dumb and you have to tell it what you want in the case of series eps.
