How to unpair 40.0 remote without the paired receiver?

Finally upgraded to H3. We just moved, so I had packed up HWS ahead of time. Anyway, there was no opportunity to unpair 40.0 remote. Want to restore it's backup to the H3. I recall this being covered before, but could not find. Thanks.

To manually unpair remote:
Hold sat till all light up
Hold Recall and 0 for 3 secs
Press search
Press vol +
Press stop
Wait 5 secs for tone

You should be able to pair 2 remotes to the H3,
So you do not need to unpait the 52.0.

Like the Kaptain said you should be fine leaving the 50.0 paired.
