Earl, over at Dbstalk, describes this C/E this way:
Most a maintenance fix, with the Boolean Search features removed.
So, if you use the Boolean search feature, better pass on this one....
No new features.

Notes added above.

As moonman mentioned - the boolean search features are being removed (no idea why at this point).

If you use those features, you may want to reconsider downloading tonight, or plan to resetup any recordings that used it.

I use the boolean frequently so I'll pass. I wonder why they are removing it? Could it be to implement something easier to work with?

I noticed yesterday that when I pause a program (live or recorded) and resume play, the volume is about 1/2 the previous volume as before pausing for about 1-2 seconds, then it returns to "normal" levels. Is this a known issue, or is this just on my end? Is this what is referred to as "06 - Audio (robustness against dropouts on certain setups)" or is that something else entirely? This seems to be happening on OTA and Sat channels, SD and HD programming alike.

For the record, I was very up-to-date on CE releases on my two HR20-700's until about 2-3 months ago and just haven't been home (or awake) when the CE releases were pumped out. So I came into this CE from the National Release.

I have been playing with my FF / Rew features during the race and found NO ISSUES with volume.

My audio is via TOSLink...do those go bad? I don't have a spare cable lying around...you think I should I even consider picking up a new one?

That would be rare unless you did something to the cable.

You could roll back to the national release and see if the problem goes away - that would clarify if it is the CE.
