HR20 with white annoying white line at top

I have an HR20 that displays an annoying white line at the top of almost all of my 4:3 content through the HR 20. It isn't there for the HD singals.

I have confirmed that it is not the display device by running the signal through 2 different projectors. The AX100 projector has the ability to shift the picture up, thus eliminating the annoying white line, but then I get an annoying (but shorter) white line on the bottom of the picture.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to fix?
