My actual question: Does my old deactivated HR21-700 receiver have any resale value?
Its in good condition, and I own it outright, although it was a battle with DirecTV at first because the CSR would agree that I owned the receiver, but the box to return it would show up and then $200 on my bill, then I'd call, CSR again would say it was a mistake, went through that 2 times until finally no boxes arrived, no fees for the unreturned receiver, and that has been about 8 months now.
I posted the receiver once on eBay but it was taken down, then after I contacted the email to find out why, got the following responses:
