As of 10:20pm DirecTV has not sent out official notes.

Other sites may "guess" at the notes to this week's release, even posting them the night before. We will not post notes until DirecTV finalizes the release and sends them out.

Accuracy is our primary concern, not jumping the gun.

Chat room at other site says they just got word that the HR2X and R22 are cancelled for tonight, not sure of status of the rest. So just be careful to make sure what you're downloading tonight.

I have not received confirmation from DirecTV yet, but it sounds like the CE is cancelled.

Given they haven't sent notes out either, this is a resonable assumption.

It would be nice if they would communicate key things like cancellations universally.

Thanks. A national release may be in the near future and MRV may be back for testing next week. Just a guess on my part.

I would put my money on YES there WILL be a CE next week.

It's been very rare when there wasn't a CE. I'm thinking there's only been 2 or 3 weeks total in the last 14 months I've been doing this that there wasn't one...at least for the HR21.

Just a quick question, when a CE goes to a National Release, is it forced to all boxes? Meaning, will the NR override the current CE that I'm running? I really wouldn't like that...

Yes, it is forced to all boxes running a firmware version lower than the National Release version number.

Yep, sometime in the next 2-3 weeks, the NR will override your CE as it'll have a higher version than the last ce released. Theres also a chance (especially if you live on the east coast) that you'll get another CE before or shortly after the CE hits you.

On the other hand, since I know the odds, yes I'd put money on there being a CE next week. I'm not sure I'd put money on there being a CE with MRV in it, since its somewhere close to 40% CE with MRV quite unlike the MRV you had before, 40% CE without MRV but a lot of other stuff they've been holding back for the last 3 weeks because they wanted to get an NR out, 10% no ce (again) and 10% WTF!?!

But dang, I probably already said more than I'm supposed to before some other agent kills me for having given out the secrets... :tux:

I hope MRV deos go national but I have always wondered if it would. I recall when D* announced their intentions of having a new HD DVR line a couple years ago they also mentioned an HMC which would cost more. I hope they don't release it with a price increase for it.
