You can get the Hulu basic package with limited commercials for 99 cents a month for 12 months. Ends tomorrow evening.

Philo has their 55 channel package on sale for $99.00 for 6 months. $16.50 per month instead of $20.00.

Just signed up with Philo for the same price today. So far looks good, live channels plus lots of shows and unlimited cloud storage. Sounds to good to be true, so it might be.

The reason it is so cheap is because they have no live sports. Not even ESPN.

What does that tell you ? Sports is just one of the factors driving programming packs higher and higher.

You're exactly right. When you buy into any of the other streaming services or cable packages, you're subsidizing those that wish to view sports. ESPN is notorious for constantly increasing their costs to providers every year. I remember so many times hearing about higher cable costs due to ESPN raising their rates. ESPN has always been overrated imo.
