Hybrid LNB Wiring Diagrams

But you can definitely paint the can so it doesn't look as tacky! :) Seriously, I think the installer is going to change things out to eastern arc, unless there is a LOS issue there....

I have a dish 1000+ (receiving 118,119,129,110 into a dpp44) and found I will need a second dish and new lnb.

I was wondering if I could just keep my current setup on one dish, and then get a new dish for 119/110/129. The 118 feed would go into the new hybrid dish lnb, then feed the hopper 3 (2 joeys).

The existing setup (minus 118) would solely drive an owned hopper 2 ws.

You would have to have 2 separate accounts to keep the Hopper 2 in your mix. You can't have Hopper 1 or 2 mixed with a Hopper 3 on the same account....

I have 2 Dish 500's, one for 110 and 119, the other is 100' away and is for 129.
The problem is that I was not able to pick up 129 at the location where I get 110 and 119.
Is there a way to get this to work with Hybred LNB and a different dish?

No...

I suppose if I decide to upgrade, the installer might be able to get a signal for all three sats from one location or the other, if not,oh well. Too many trees around here..

You could change out the 500 that has 119 and 110 to a 1k2 and use the wing for 129. Just block off the 129 on the 1k2.

Ok, then I just need to connect coax from 129 dish to second coax coming from dish 500 with 110,119.
129 and 110,119 all come to connection at dp33 I believe.

The dp33 will go away. You'll need a direct line from the 129 wing to the 1k2. It will go to the input on the new lnb.

You could also tie it in at the dp33 location taking advantage of existing wiring. Just as long as the end result is the same.
