I don't understand the MapSpotbeam Map

I'm new to Dish but I have been experimenting with FTA for the last couple years.
When I look at the Spotbeam Map for Buffalo NY it shows me a Map over Washington DC.

What am I doing wrong?

Nothing. That jpg is drawn the way the original manufacturer expected the sat to be used. When Dish bought Rainbow 1 and renamed it E12, they rotated the satellite north a bit. Our spotbeam actually goes all the way up to Buffalo.
