I honor of my rebooting 622

I have a 622 that is in a constant reboot cycle. In it's "honor" I have created this poster.

My "new" 622 is on the way. 3-5 days with no TV. This will suck.

The HDMI jacks on the 622 are surface mounted. If the HDMI cable was hanging down putting a lifting pressure on the jack, it could have popped loose. Have him lift up on the cable so that it pushes the jack down and see if the picture comes back. If it does, he can either resolder it or when the new receiver comes, be sure to ziptie the hdmi cable so that there is no pressure on the jack up or down.
