I want to "move" but I need a little help..

I currently live in Virginia with my family and I get the Washington DC locals..

But I wanted to know if I "move" to New York, (born and raised, Long Island to be specific),

If I would be able to get there locals (hd included) with out any problems?

I know what I need to do, and it involves a call, but I wanted to know if I am able to reach NY spotbeams.

Not entirely correct. Some are conus, some are on spotbeam. As far as sd, you would get the big 4, wwor, wpix and wnet (a pbs) off of 119/110 and the big in HD off 61.5.

Would I get MSG too? Thats the main reason why i would "move"

hmm depends on the spot beam tho, not all locals will work everywhere unless you got that sattelite in there.
