It was one bit, and given that it had to be assembled with a scanning, tunneling microscope it's a long way from the market.

It's still cool as can be though.

absolutely cool stuff.

the other interesting r&d news out of a university lab recently is that Ohm's law is holding true even at similar atomic scales.

Nanotechnology is where the future lies. There is only so much you can get on silicone or other materials before heat and other variables greatly weaken it capacity and integrity.
