I'm trying to find 97W. I finally found a satellite that has some radio channels but no video. 11708/V/10008 [+] 11722/V/10008 [+] are 2 Transponders found so far. And some of the radio channels on a Fortec Star Mercury II show up as:

Program 900
CH 9991
CH 11
CH 20500
CH 40000
CH 40001

What satellite am I on?

I did a second scan now I got some TV channels all Scrambled with NagraVision. All Channels start with CH then a number. Canadian perhaps? : /

I'm trying to find 97w with a fixed Ku. Ok. Thanks. :)

I'm getting 91 and 95 so I am close. ;)

You will know when you hit it - you'll find a bunch of channels...

Set your receiver to a strong transponder (for example, 12151 H 20000), and move the dish east/west slowly, with small increments with a couple seconds of interval between movements...

When you move your dish only move it about 1/8" at a time around the pole. You'll be surprised how small of a movement it takes as any more than that can put you right off the satellite in a heart beat.

Using a Acutrac 22 Pro outside. I've been finding strong signals first one I couldn't find anything on the receiver even with a 100 signal outside.

Starting to see why a HH motor would be a lot easier. Still haven't found 97W even using a meter. Is there a better way other than using the Elevation markings on the Dish itself? 42.6 Degrees is hard to guess.

Glad to hear you found it.
Dishpointer also has a Obstacle checker, check-mark the box and move the indicator along the line and it will output the height where it will interfere.
