Anyone play this? I talked to my brother in law last night and he has been playing it and loves it. I think I'm going to pick it up on the way home tonight. Anyone want to change my mind about that?

Don't have info on this game, but maybe try the demo first? Demos have saved me some $$ in the past.

I tried the demo and it turned me off. I just found the game to be rather unintuitive and a bit steep on the difficulty curve (or maybe I was just playing it wrong.) Obviously many other don't share in my opinion and your mileage may vary, but perhaps a full experience (like a rental) may prove better than the demo is, and I wouldn't throw down $60 on it so easily.

Probably the best PS3 exclusive I've played. The demo is a good representation of the entire game though, I'd give that a shot. Some people have problem with aiming in it and it turns them off right away... it's a fun game.

That's what turned me off with Killzone 2. The aiming. I may give this one a shot.

KZ2 is pretty nice, I got past the aiming but never finished the game and only played so much multiplayer (my gaming ADD kicked in). inFamous aiming can sometimes be too precise, but thats what spamming bolts at enemies is for :)

I didn't like the aiming in the Killzone 2 demo at all and it stopped me from buying it. (Stinks cause I thought it was going to be great). I've just read a couple of pretty good reviews online so I'll probably give it a shot. If I don't like it (like MSG4) then it will likely be up for sale, haha.

I tried MSG4 for longer than that. Hell it took 2 hours of intro and BS before you could actually do anything. I hated it and ended up selling it to one of the members here for a very good deal.

Well, I picked this up on the way home on Friday and played for about 2 hours. I then played for about 4 hours today. So far I really enjoy it! Some of the complaints I read were regarding control both of the player and the shooting. I actually love both! Hoping that this game doesn't end too soon.

I agree with dantheman77. Uncharted is the best exclusive game for sure (hopefully the sequal will be just as good). But this one is good too. Didn't get to play much today, but still digging it!

I own Uncharted and stopped playing it short of entering the sub near the beginning, not a fan of puzzle games. I like inFamous much more for the sandbox stuff by itself. For me I'd put Killzone 2 and probably Resistance 2 ahead of Uncharted.

if you keep playing i think you will see DRAKE has alot of action, fighting, shooting to it also, RATCHET & CLANK is fun too!

Unchartered was a amazing game, one that I could play through again as it was just the prettiest game I am have seen...now I Did play the demo of infamous at walmart for a bit and I was impressed, will be maybe looking more into this game, but dang I cant wait for unchartered two!

All the cut scenes, platforming, and puzzling during the first three chapters does give me pause when I think about playing through again, but since I've done them once, they go pretty fast now. Last week, I went through Drake's for my 3rd and 4th times, loving every minute of it (hadn't played in over a year.)

Will definitely need to check out the Infamous demo as it does seem like my kind of game if the aiming/shooting doesn't prove too problematic.

Unchartered is actually a Sim's style RPG about down-on-their-luck private boat operators trying to scare up some business. ;)

Man. I am glad im not the only one that types it like that.

I'll give Uncharted another shot eventually, the game is gorgeous, but yeah... it embodied all the reason I never played the Tomb Raider games, just not a puzzle guy.
Puzzles are not as big a part of Uncharted like they are in Tomb Raider. Believe me, there are other, more legitimate reasons to not like Uncharted, like the unoriginal game ideas (graciously borrowing from Tomb Raider, Far Cry, and Gears of War,) predictable story and characters, etc. Still, its worth getting past that submarine because the story picks up after that part. Besides, as far as the puzzles go, that's what Gamefaqs.com is for.
