If I'm installing the dish near the top of my roof (roof has 10:12 pitch), and I want the dish on the back side of the roof- so you can't see it from the street in front of the house- my question: Can you get a 1-2 foot extension on the mast arm of the dish (vertical part) so that I can set the dish back far enough from the peak of the roof to not be seen from the street, and yet still be able see sats 110,119,129? (Assuming a dish 1000).

Are you "looking" over the peak to "see" those sats? The height of the dish makes absolutely no difference as long as you have LOS. If you don't need to raise it for LOS then no extension is needed. Since 129 is low, you might need to raise it, however. Why not have an installer confirm whether or not you have LOS where you want it, and if not then propose alternatives?

BRgds...
