Installer used an old existing dish - good or bad?

I had dish installed today and the installer used an old satelite dish next to my apartment complex... the only thing he did was install new wire .. is this good or bad?

Its all under warranty. I would be concerned if its also feeding a neighbors installation as if they move and take down their dish you may get disconnected.
I'm guilty of doing this Claude. Pull up on a 1 room install 2 hours from home. Cust is military and lives in apartment with multiple dishes out back. What the hell, hook into one of them!

More often than not, in situations like those, tenants won't take down dishes if they move or cancel. They really have no way of telling which one is theirs or even which one is being used.
