I have and existing install with 2 vip 722 receivers. I want to add a third Vip722 I have a dish 1000.2 and there is 3 lnb's it says dp plus on it. I guess this is all I need?

Thanks Matt

If it's a 1000.2, then it has 3 outputs. Just run another coax all the way from that 3rd output to your 3rd receiver.

NONE

Just run the 3rd coax. Dunno WTH you'd wanna mess with a switch.

Ed
he will need the switch or 1000.2 dish to run 3 dual tuner ird's. the dpp twin only supports 2 dual turner ird's.
I see you edited your post, if you indeed have a 1000.2 dish there will be 3 outputs and one input for a fourth satellite, if it is a dish 1000 you will have a dpp twin and a dp single lnb's which support 2 dual tuner ird's

If you were feeding more than three receivers.
 With a DPP33 switch? I think several folks missed the correction Matt added to his OP. He has a 1000.2 so he has 3 outputs already as I stated above. Plus he's not asking for a 4th connection as yet.

All 3 1000.2 outputs must be used if connecting it up to a switch. As Ed said, there is no point in adding a DPP33, which has no more outputs than the 1000.2. A DPP44, on the other hand, would allow a 4th receiver and additional cascaded switches. Is that what you (KAB) meant to say? I personally find the DPP44 entirely unaffordable and have a DP34 cascaded with a DPP33 instead. (That gives me 4 single-tuner outputs and 3 dual-tuner outputs for half the price of a DPP44.)

He asked what the advantages were and I told him. So....
