Interesting discovery regarding HD Homerun devices

Which model of HDHomeRun are you using? Some of the older ones aren't DLNA capable.

HD Homerun Dual for me and I had that thought too, but haven't looked the specs up on it yet.

Not a big deal as I just recently reconnected it to play with Plex dvr after I got an offer for Lifetime Plex Pass. I was just looking after today's post about it. It does work very well with Plex DVR though, should I need it as a backup to my Tivo's :)

EDIT: That's it. I have the HDHR3-US models, no DLNA support. HDHR4-2US adds support for streaming TV via DLNA/UPnP

That would explain why I only recently discovered the feature. I had the HDHR3-US until less than 3 or 4 months ago, when I upgraded. We've had an HDHR4-2US at work for about a year, but I never noticed it there, either.
