I have noticed that the responsiveness of the dvr's seems to have reduced quite a bit. I have 3 different branded boxes in my house and at times it is painfully slow performing any tasks. I may be mis-remembering the "good old days" but many things seem markedly slower than in the past.

I think I agree with this. I am now "bothered" by the "lag." I don't remember being bothered that way 'back when.'

I wonder if adding all the new features has overwhelmed the processor power in the boxes?
