International Channels

I read a post a few months ago but can't seem to locate it about international channels moving over to a different D* satellite. In this way, we only need the one dish on our roof instead of two. Did this happen already or are we waiting for the new satellite launch later this year. Does anyone have any information on this? Thanks.

There was information about them moving, but no timeline.

If the channels would move to 110W and 119W, this would be completely independent of DIRECTV 12.

Harshness, thank you for the information. It looks like from the link you provided that it would be later this year. I definutely don't want to have another dish installed on my roof.

The thread that I linked to was very specific about their not being any hint of an official timeline. The 2009 portion was a (S)WAG on Jason's part.
