iPhone DirecTV app - Starting time not correct for manual recording

If I go to More>Manual Recording and then set a new start time, when I look at the Manual Record screen, the start time is exactly 2 hours ahead of the time I entered. What am I doing wrong? I have the time zone specifically set to Central (which is correct as I'm in Texas). Can't figure out what's happening.

In settings of the app I have "use system time zone" not central or eastern in the display time zone.

Uninstall the app and try it again is the only other option IMO.

Tried uninstall/reinstall and that didn't fix it. I want to make sure I'm explaining exactly what's happening.

1) Start app
2) Tap "More" and then "Manual Recording"
3) Tap "Start"
4) Set the time to a certain time (e.g. 5:00 PM) and then tap the Save Settings button
5) The Start time should show 5:00 PM but shows 7:00 PM

I've tried setting the app to Central time zone (which is where I am) or letting it use the System time and I get the same results. Tonight I'm going to try it at home and see what impact this actually has on the DVR (does it set up as 5PM or 7PM start time?). If I can see what it's actually doing, I can just work around it.

Those are the only options I know to try. I am in the central time zone as well and have no issues with my app

Is there a reason you are doing a manual recording instead of the program? Just wondering

No, I was just trying the thing out and noticed it wasn't working as I expected it to. Ultimately, it probably won't be much of a problem.
