iPhone X video out not full screen

On the new iPhone X, using the Dish Anywhere app and Lightning AV adapter for video out, I cannot get full screen video.

The video output is shrunk to about 1/3 the screen and still shows the virtual home button below the picture. Before switching to iphone x, had no issues with fullscreen video output.

Has anyone else come across this? Hoping a future update for the app corrects this.

I bet it’s an issue with the iPhone x, since technically the screen is not a perfect rectangle.

Probably need to wait for Apple to release a new iOS version.

If you are screen mirroring then the Dish Anywhere App will need to be updated to support the iPhone X's different screen size. The native aspect ratio is 2.165:1, not 16:9 so I would expect black bars someplace. It sounds like it's black bars on all four sides.
