Is 72, 61, 110, and 119 together possible?

I have both EA 1000.4 and a 500 for 110,119 and a 500 for 61.5. My HD locals are on 61.5 and I have no LOS for 129. I still want 110 and 119 for SD locals and because I still use my pocket dish. I have a 44 switch so I took the line from the first port from EA and added it to the bottom position on the switch, I did a check switch and it showed 110,119,61.5, and 72- but after the program guide update the channels from 72 would show up but no picture. I went to system info and had a red x for 72. I was able to get good signals on 72 in the point dish screen, what am I doing wrong?
I have a DPP for 110 and 119 and a DP for 61.5 , could that be the problem?

What receiver do you have? I don't know for sure but don't think you have to have an SD signal for the VIP DVR to transfer it to the pocket dish for play back.

The pocketDish will only accept a mpeg2 SD file for transfer to it.

I think pocket dish doesn't do mpeg4. I have the AV500 , I tried some stuff that was SD from EA on my 722 and my 612, and it said something like it does not do HD at this time, even from a SD channel, it was the same message I get if I try to transfer a HD show. I have a 500 gb full of SD movies and series for when they phase out mpeg2, I record both SD and HD of most movies and series like curb so I will have stuff for the P.D. when that day comes. I really get a lot of use from the P.D. when I take trips or visit relatives, I just plug it into any TV and have the remote to control it , just like my DVR's at home. The problem I have is with Dish removing channels from 61.5 I need 72 to get all of them, now I just switch cables at just my 722. I have one for EA and another that comes off of the 44 switch with 110,119 and 61.5. I still have a 612 and two 211's that need all the channels. I may try 72 and 61.5 from EA plus the 500 with 110 and 119 tomorrow and see if that works, they will both have DPP lnb's.

No pocket dish

Hope it works. It is most likely the MPEG4 that is the problem. I think that if you use the DPP44 wired w/ 119, 110, then 72 & 61.5 ( maybe reverse the last 2) it will work. Try it & let us know if it does work. I will be interesting to find out.

Very Interesting results. I took the line from my wing dish for 61.5 and connected to the EA, so on my 44 switch I have,
port 1 is 110 - twin DPP
port 2 is 119 - twin DPP
port 3 is 61.5 - 1000.4
port 4 is 72 - 1000.4
I did a check switch and everything went smooth and all sats showed up in system info. The interesting thing is that the 72 sat over rides 110 and 119 except on my SD locals and the test channel 5710. That still makes it not possible to to get any shows except on the locals for my pocket dish. The good thing is that I didn't do a check switch on the 612, so that still has 110 and 119 but no 72, so I can record on that and transfer to the P.D. or a EHD until it resets. I will just have to disconnect the 72 input and run a check switch to get them back to 110 and 119 as needed. I guess unless you have a pocket dish there is no need to have these sats together. I think the lnb on the wing dish being DP instead of DPP like the others may have been the problem.
