Is dish going to get rid of all must carry wing dishes?

I live in the Roanoke, VA DMA. I noticed some pixalltion on my UPN channel. When I went to check the signal, I noticed that UPN and WB are now on sat 110 t25.

I was just wondering if they were going to move all of those "must carry" channels that are/were on both 129 and 148/61.5? That way they can save bandwidth on two sats.

It isn't to save bandwith so much as it is to comply with the 1 dish law that goes into effect soon.

Nope, wont happen unless technology changes on new sats and a single transponder can carry 100 + channels on it per your question on the thread title.

129 is a new use sat and if they are going to take channels off it it wont be for a while.
