Is Gmail down?

Is Gmail down? I do not stay logged in to gmail and when I try to go to the log in page it will not go. My son stays logged in and said he had no problems so I went to his computer, logged him out and tried to log me in. It sat there spinning it's wheels forever.
Is anyone else having problems?

Working for me.

Earlier today it was spinning its wheels for me and I hit refresh and it came up immediately.

It does that sometimes, have no idea why but it does every once in a while.

It lasted about an hour or so. Then all was fine again.

I get that with various websites since I got on charter, all websites take 5 - 20 seconds to respond on average but gmail has always been a pain in the backside. For what ever reason no matter what comp its been on gmail seems to go through about a half dozen portals based on the page clicking that I hear as it loads, depending on the local web traffic on the cable network it can be a real pain to get into.
