Is it my eyes or did SD PQ got better?

As I watched some SD local channels this thrusday (NBC) I noticed the picture quality was quite good. In fact I have noticed an improvement for SD over the past week or so. Has anybody else noticed that or was I before not really paying attention???

It seems that my pic quality has been better in the last few months also. I swapped some cables for higher quality cables and I thought that might be the reason but who knows. Maybe they have reduced the compression a little or done something to actually improve the quality. What ever it is I'm happy to see a little improvemenmt.

Maybe your eyes have finally adjusted to the reduced quality of the locals and they look normal or good to you now.

Even though I still watch SD via DVI, I have noticed the biggest improvement in SD via S-Video, even since the so called "fix".
All my SD channels went "blurry" last night. HD was fine, but I had to to a receiver reset to fix the SD channels. What's up with that.
