Just shows how E* feels about the customer. When I spent $700.00 on my 721 I was told by DISH that it would come to the 721 in about a year. As a past dealer I should have known better.
Maybe they will let the 721 and 921 owners be the first ones after the current MPEG-2 HD DVR's to get the upgrade to MPEG-4 DVR's with NBR to make up for it.
Charlie, seems like politician that flip flops his promises based on who is listening and when. Maybe he will make good on it when they switch to the next level of MPEG, but I won't hold my breath waiting.
Seems like we should all get some kind of rebate on the dollars we spent for their top of the line receiver with future upgrades noted on the box.
