They are both the same speed. The UI depends on the UI installed on the Hopper. If the customer has the Hopper 3 and new UI the wireless will have new UI. If the customer has the HWS and old UI wireless will have the old UI.

The 4K Joey is faster than the Wireless Joey and the Joey 2. I personally think that the Wireless Joey is a little bit faster than the Joey 2.

got the old (40.0) remote with my (2) WJ's and as someone else pointed out, the UI depends on what Hopper you have.

(Of course, the Joey 1 was pretty shameful speed-wise almost from day one)

I never had any complaints with my Joey 1 until the HWS came out. That's when everything else blew past it in speed.

When the tech brings the Joeys in if the box says Joey2 you get the 52 remote. If your box just say ms joey it will be the 40. My tech had a mixture when he came in yesterday. Was shocked when he saw them. He had he FSM bring him the Joey 2 boxes so they would all be the same remote.
