I have a brother in law that is looking for some way to listen to his tv while running on a tread mill. Just wondering if the 722 is Bluetooth capable for this purpose

No. It is a feature of the Hopper only. He would have to get a wireless headphone rig and connect it to the TV1 audio output (RCA Jacks).

I use sonos play 1 ' s. Control with my smart phone and either tv, computer, or internet streaming. Runs on the 2.4 frequency. Group or control separately by smartphone, depending on app and who is using.

Longhorn Network HD?
