Is there any way to add a pvr to my 811?

Is there any way to hookup my 501 dvr up to the same tv as my 811 so I can have use of the dvr at least on non hd channels.???? Paying $900 for a 921 is not an option for me. Thanks Bob

You hook the 501 up to one of the non-HD inputs of your HDTV.

But that answer is SO obvious, your question must not be the right one. Try again?

When I had the 811 installed he had to replace the LNB and run another cable into the house so that I could have two recievers on the same TV.

Youre right. It was so obvious I admit Im dumb. Can I hook up to 2 recievers with only one line coming from the dish (diplexor???) or do I need to run another line from the dish? I do have an avaiable lnb. Would I have to ground the 2nd line too or is one enough? Thanks.

No you can't use a diplexer for that. You can bring an OTA signal into the house using a diplexer though. I grounded the second line mostly becasue I have the OTA antenna "diplexed" into that line.
