Is this normal?

I just noticed that the NASCAR race which started at 5:00pm here in the Mountain time is being recorded via PTAT, I guess because it extends onto prime time. But when I press the red button, it shows that all the networks started recording at 5:00pm. Is the software not smart enough to record the other networks at the normal times?

You know that PTAT records earlier on weekends than on weekdays, don't you?

PTAT records from 8-11pm EST Mon to Sat, then 7-11pm EST on Sunday. 7pm est would be 5pm mst so yes it is normal

8-11 eastern & pacific mon to sat
7-10 central & mountan mon to sat
sunday starts 1 hour earlier

If a sporting event that is scheduled continue into primetime starts shortly before primetime then PTAT will start at the earlier time for that network.

It needs to record an hour later on Sunday... Always missing the end of shows that start late because of Sports.
