Have you tried doing a "View Source" on the page that has the Cnet ad? I noticed you're using FF too. Usually spyware doesn't effect FF as much as Exploder.

This time I turned off all my ad and script blockers for this site and I couldn't get the Cnet one to come up. I got a Windoze live, Comcast, etc., from Burstnet and a few from Chitika that has the text box, but not the Cnet one. I would check on my roomie's puter, but he's asleep so I can access it.

Update: I was able to get it to show up after 24,504.01 tries! I captured the text from the view source thing just for the area in question... Not sure that will help.

Well its a little white box link, and sometimes it has cnet, sometimes amazon sometimes differnt stuff, with a text box you can type in.. Its on the website itself, I know its not spyware or adware... :) Although sophisticated programs they havent been able to embed themselves onto a site yet...

EDIT-- Speak of the devil heres the cnet thingie..

Unfortunately from that code I can not see anything as the code is just a randomizer which grabs ads from Burst.

The "CNET" ads are not from CNET, but are Chitika Ads which run if Burst has no ads for us. You will notice that they use different sources for some of the products they offer and it appears CNET is one of them.

If someone gets some screen shots of the "bad ad" please post it as I can then can send them to burst and they can find out what it is and turn it off.

Again while some of our syndicated ads do have animations in them we do not run any ads that have popups or that take over your screens. If you see any of these things check your machines. (We run ads to pay the bills not to scare people away) :D

No the insurance one I havent seen in a bit but it doesnt come off the screen i na popup.. It sorta just as you mouse over the ad (in same location) it expands to show you more information about it.. If I find it ill screenshot it but its in that same location as the "cnet" ad is in, that same banner space, is what I mean.

I found it. before mouseover and after
