Joey 1.0

I hope not. I have a Joey 2 and it is slow in my opinion. Why do you ask?

Just wandering because I heard Hopper1s are not compatible with Joey 2.0s and those hoppers are still being installed for customers with low credit or pay as you go accounts. Joey 2.0s are compatible with Hopper2 and Hopper3 though.

I’m going to assume in the future that Dish is going to eventually do away with Hopper1s and Hopper2s and let Hopper3s, Hopper Duos be standard install for customers who want DVRs and Wallies for customers that don’t want DVR.

Maybe at some point in the future but right now that is just wishful thinking. As long as they can keep refurbishing receivers and putting them back out in the field to generate an income, they will do it.
