Joey: can it turn on at a scheduled time?

My TV will turn on if I program it to, but then I need the joey to turn on and change channels at the same time.
I think this is a gen 1 joey. Coax connection. HWS in the big room.
I looked in the menu and didn't find anything.

Change to what channel/s? You can always set a manual, daily Auto Tune timer for a specific channel a few minutes ahead of the TV.

There is no "auto on" capability. The Joey doesn't "tune" to channels so even auto-tune timers or recordings won't help. You can't specify "use the Joey" to do those things.

When your TV turns on after you program it to, what channel is it on ? Or, do you actually get the Dish screensaver ? I'm confident you get the screensaver, actually.
