Joey cant find hopper

So long story short I har Dish installed over the weekend to take place of our DirecTV. One of the Joey's installed was meant for a different room but I had the tech install on a different TV as the room it is meant to end up in wasnt quite ready but I moved it to that room last night after getting the room ready. Low and behold it doesn't work when plugged in. I get a 1305 five error. My questions are, since they are utilizing all the prior existing coaxial cabling shouldn't I be able to just plug into any port that had directv there prior? Or am I going to have to do a process of elimination? Also do you have to reset the hopper each time you move the cables where they all come in or say I find the right one will it just automatically start working?

If you didn't tell the tech that you wanted that room wired then it's probably not wired into the new system.

Did the same DTV -> Dish switch few weeks back. In the basement, DTV had a 6 position switch. Dish replaced with 3 or 4 position switch since I only have one H3 and one J3. The other bedroom positions were capped. If I wanted to enable our other bedroom, I'd have to get a J3, uncap a position, and find the right coax to enable the room. Maybe check your newly installed switch and move a position?

They left all the existing wiring in the closet I was able to figure out the other two where they were coming in. So my secondary question is this, would the process of elimination work? Or does the port in the other room actually need to be turned on? Shouldn't it still be useable and it just being a matter of finding the right connection where all the wiring is?

Here the one I have now. The one I had with DTV looks like the one in the lower left of your picture. 2 rows of connectors.

The Dish connections are:
ODU to Dish
Host to H3
Client to Joey3 #1
Client to Joey3 #2 (currently plugged)

FYI: I have a Wally for our Motorhome. I set it up in the house before installing into the coach by connecting the ODU coax directly to the Host coax with a barrel connector, then hooked the Wally upstairs where the H3 connects. Worked perfect for the setup. Afterwards, just put it back like it is now.
