WACY-TV 32, a Green Bay, Wisconsin station licensed to Appleton, Wisconsin has switched its affiliation from MyNetworkTV to Independent without notice from E.W. Scripps, the station's owners. WACY-TV 32 hasn't been an Independent station since 1994.

Would like to see that for KASA-DT in Albuquerque to go independent station fulltime instead of Network which has some pretty lame programmings.

Put more on local sport and high quality movies, and unfortunately can't show uncut movies thanks to lame FCC censorship.

If the FCC'S rules has been overturned then the independent station will have better competition advantage over the main TV networks by showing high quality uncut TV and movies shows respectfully. :hungry:hatsoff

Scripps did the same thing to WMYD 20 in Detroit, Michigan in 2021, making that station Independent and leaving former Independent station WADL 38 to pick up the MyNetworkTV affiliation.

Now, if only Green Bay's Fox affiliate, WLUK-TV 11, could add a secondary MyNetworkTV affiliation...It wouldn't be that hard to do, since the MyNetworkTV program service (MyNetworkTV, like Fox, is owned by the Fox Corporation, and was launched as a response to The CW in 2006) carries a very small amount of programming to place on the schedule. There's quite a few examples of Fox affiliates with secondary MyNetworkTV affiliations out there...
