As you might have noticed the site is running slow at the moment.

There could be 1 of two reasons why the site is running slow,

The first reason is that the site might be under some kind of attack. In the past 48 hours we have seen some warnings a few folks wanted to stage some sort of an attack against us. Our ISP thinks this may be an attack. They are now monitoring our traffic to see whats causing the issue.

The second reason could be a faulty apache module which to me could be the issue as our logs are showing apache errors. This means we will need to close the site for a big and recompile Apache (which is ok since our ISP wants us to add a security module we currently dont have loaded)

We appologize for the slowness and we will be back to our normal fast sell ASAP!

Thanks for your support!

I have updated and recompiled Apache and have opened the board for testing. However in this compile I did not enable any datacaching such as ZEND, XCACHE, EACCELERATOR etc...

The ISP also is monitoring all connections coming into the server.

I am monitoring things and no matter what will probably take down the site again to reenable caching. :)

Thanks for your support.

Ok we are trying again. :

We have got a few ideas of what is going on and have put in a fix and we are now checking if it works. :)

Cross you fingers. :)
