Why not ? Is it because the dish arm and yolk or braket doesnt accept this new lnb or is it more than that?

Well you won't know unless you try it. Just remember the 1k4 yoke. Don't know why it wouldn't work because 1k4 dish will work with 500+ LNB. Nobody argue this unless you've proven it wrong because it has been done
