Just got this bad boy

My neighbors had an old superdish they dont use and gave it to me. Finally have one. Looks pretty cool! Its getting about 87% signal on 110, 119 is 65% which i need to fix somehow. Its like a step back in time or something

I retraced the logo pretty well with a sharpie. Looks almost brand new!

I was sent super dish serial number 1.

Charlie told me I would have a package coming. And I got home and there it was. The box was huge.

So I put it all together and put it on a pole I had outside and called a friend who had a meter. So he came over and plugged in the meter and somehow I managed to aim it perfectly without trying. You should have saw us two grown guys dancing around the satellite dish so happy that it was perfectly aimed without trying.

We ran some cables and went in the house to see what new channels we would see. Did a check switch and it saw the dish and then flipped through the guide and there was one new channel. If I remember correctly it says "Congratulations you have a Super Dish"

I was disappointed. Lol.

I wouldn't want that big ass dish on my roof . not to mention how it would perform when the wind starts blowing . I think the smaller ones are more stable during wind storms

It was so big and heavy it required support struts, plus an external powered switch. Just a terrible setup.

I remember driving by a movie theater seeing one up on the roof. i'm taking it the owners lived there also. but i can't imagine that thing blowing in the wind LOL. the slimlines were bad enough.. so happy that charlie went back to the dish 500!!!
